UNDP inducts stakeholders on new Country programme

UNDP Namibia and the National Planning Commission of Namibia are hosting the Induction Meetings with key stakeholders for the rolling out of the UNDP Namibia Country Programme Document (CPD) for the next five years (2019-2023) from 05-08 November.

The aim of the Roll-out induction is to systematically engage critical stakeholders to the success of the new Programme ensuring common understanding and a clear road-map. Additionally, the objective is to do a scan of emerging opportunities for partnership around the priority areas.

The CPD Roll-Out is facilitated by a Programme Analyst and an Evaluation Specialist from United Nations Development Programme - UNDP Regional Service Centre for Africa in Ethiopia office & will ensure that:

1. Portfolio Review: Participatory Review of existing portfolio by stakeholders, programme management architecture & its alignment to the new offer.

2. Portfolio/Projects Development Road-map and surge Capacities: Identify potential areas of portfolio/pipeline growth and mechanisms for system-wide expertise to support matezrialiation of the concepts into joint or targeted projects documents, as well as sound project management.

3. Strategic Engagements with Key Partners (& Donors): Engage with and critically reflect on the main partners (and potential donors) identified in the new Country Programme.
